What a lag time.

Okay so this is getting really old really fast so I'm going to try and update this quick while chatting with family back home.

These are pictures from our bus trip to Cape Coast.



They are not the best quality, I know. They were taken with my camera phone. The bus was STC, the state transit company. It is about 200 km to Cape Coast from Accra, I think. The trip, not including the two hour delay at the bus station was almost three hours. In part because the highway was under construction. A large part of it was under construction. We had to take a detour. The detour was carved out of the shoulder, seemingly with a grader. There was little else to it than that. The pot holes and ruts had become hard packed from who knows how many cars and trucks bouncing over them. It was very bone jarring and teeth rattling. Every once in a while there would be a sign, "bump." Well duh.
This last picture is also on the bus. At a very smooth part of the highway. It is our roommate Dennis and our caretaker/guide Joseph. They have been spending alot of time together.
