Article reprinted ... worldwide fame (infamy?) is mine.

The Chronicle article on the gay and lesbian conference has been reposted to GhanaWeb, which is a widely read site both inside Ghana and by Ghanaians abroad.

The site has a comments section where readers can have their say on stories. The story was posted this morning and as I write (5 p.m.) there are 42 comments, ranging from "he asks a good question" to "this guy must be arrested" to death threats against the association's leader.

There was one comment directed at me specifically:

"Hey Wendy,
I believe you are one of the gay people that is why you have been trying to find a way to advertise all these nonsense in the media. Better put a stop to that, they do not deserve any recognition!!!"
